Thank you for taking the time to consider supporting our Trail 77 Partnership Campaign in collaboration with the Town and MD of Taber.
Earlier this year, Trail 77 presented its vision for the next phase of trail development to both municipalities, and we are excited to share that each has committed $100,000 toward the project—on the condition that Trail 77 raises a matching $100,000 through community sponsorships and fundraising. Together, this $300,000 investment will allow us to complete the approved Trail 77 Master Plan, which includes over 10 km of new singletrack and flow trails. This will build on the success of our spring 2025 trail expansion that have already become local favorites.
About Trail 77
Trail 77 is a not-for-profit organization based in Taber, dedicated to building and maintaining a high-quality singletrack trail network for residents and visitors alike. In partnership with the Town and MD of Taber, we have created a network that serves runners, hikers, bikers, and walkers, and we’ve seen a steady increase in both local and regional use.
Our vision is to create a diverse trail system featuring a mix of green, blue, and black trails, allowing users to progress their skills in a safe and fun environment. This project will continue to make Taber a destination for outdoor recreation, active living, and family adventure.
Why Your Support Matters
The Trail 77 team is proud of the momentum we’ve built and the positive impact our trail system has had on the community. We’ve seen more visitors coming from outside Taber, and local youth engagement has been remarkable.
Our Gnarly Niblets Kids Program has sold out yearly, and several local schools now use the trails for outdoor education and recreation programs. The benefits are clear: more kids, families, and adults are getting outside, staying active, and connecting through shared outdoor experiences.
