We have dedicated, dynamic and qualified professionals providing family centered programming. Through specialized services, the children and families in our organization experience high levels of success and continue to meet and exceed their goals.
We offer Early Education Programming provided to children between 2 ½ and 6 years of age, who have been diagnosed with a severe disability (including severe communication delays or behavioural challenges). A diagnosis of Autism is not required to access services. The Early Education Program focuses on the development of communication skills, functional play skills, fine and gross motor skills, classroom routines and introduces many preschool and kindergarten concepts.
EPIC is a program designed to provide both specialized and inclusive opportunities for children and youth to engage in physical activity and recreation. EPIC is inclusive of a variety of activities that are designed to meet the child where they are at in terms of their ability to engage, thus providing children and youth diagnosed with autism with increased opportunity to participate in physical activity and peer interaction according to their abilities and preferences.
We believe that respite care is an essential part of the overall support that families may need and provides respite services within the home and community. The respite worker will provide care and supervision according to individual child’s needs while working in a child focused, family centered environment.
Our Childcare Program is provided to children between 19 months and 5 years of age who have been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. This unique program aims to alleviate the stress many parents face in finding a suitable childcare program for their children on the spectrum. Our staff focus on encouraging children to develop communication skills, functional play skills, fine and gross motor skills and self-help skills, while providing a safe and engaging environment for all. The childcare room is equipped with a variety of regulation tools, sensory items and visual supports to accommodate for the different needs and preferences of the children attending the program.
Our other services and programs include a Diagnostics Clinic, Counselling Services, Parent Learning Workshops and Summer Camps.
