Mountain View Emergency Shelter Society

Mountain View Emergency Shelter Society is an organization that provides support and shelter for adults and children escaping violence. Mountain View Emergency Shelter Society assists victims of family violence in rebuilding their lives by providing crisis intervention and support.

Mountain View Emergency Shelter Society (MVESS) promotes awareness, education and advocates for early intervention/prevention of family violence, by providing programs within the community, We provide equitable access by providing these services in Mountain View County (Olds, Didsbury, Sundre, Carstairs and Cremona). MVESS strives to enhance the quality of life of adults and children negatively impacted by family violence by providing one on one support services and programs to clients at no charge. Numerous educational programs are offered in the various communities. Our emergency shelter will be open in the spring of 2025.
