What We Do
24-Hour Crisis and Intake Line
The 24-hour crisis and intake line is often the first point of contact for individuals and families experiencing domestic violence. We provide around-the-clock support, 365 days a year, in more than 200 languages.
Jessie’s House
Jessie’s House is an all-gender emergency shelter for individuals and families fleeing domestic violence. It also houses our Child and Youth Program as well as our 24-hour crisis and intake line. Our residential program offers inclusive, client-led support grounded in trauma-informed practices.
Eileen’s Place
Eileen’s Place is a second-stage housing program designed to address gaps in services and ensure that space remains available at Jessie’s House for those in immediate crisis. Clients who need additional support for a longer period can transition from Jessie’s House to Eileen’s Place, where they receive extended programming and work toward their personal goals.
Eileen’s Place opened in April 2024.
Inspire Program
The Inspire Program is a trauma-informed, holistic initiative that nurtures social-emotional skills, healthy relationships, leadership, and cultural pride among youth in grades 7–9 at Four Winds School in Morinville.
Outreach Program
The Outreach Program provides community-based support for individuals experiencing domestic violence and follow-up services for clients after they leave Jessie’s House. The program also collaborates with community partners to deliver education, raise awareness, and promote engagement.
