Adhering to the principles of creative aging, we believe that seniors’ engagement in the arts at a level of comparative mastery leads to significant health benefits, an overall sense of well-being, and a marked increase in social and civic engagement. Our programs seek to challenge stereotypes, promote authentic views on aging, and bring people together to share in meaningful discussions about lived experiences.

Our performance company, GeriActors & Friends, is unique in uniting seniors and younger generations through play development. Performers range in age from early twenties to nineties. Using a playful approach to theatre, we create original plays based on true stories and issues of aging. We perform to seniors and their families, students, health professionals, caregivers, and the general public.

Our outreach workshops we seek to involve seniors and intergenerational groups in a wide range of performance-based activities including storytelling, improv, acting, and movement.
